What a great weekend. We started off Friday night with a movie marathon, pizza party and living room camp out. I’ve never actually watched 3 movies in a row before Friday. That’s a lot of movies for me to sit through! I even slept (most of the night) in the living room floor with the girls! I had a great time and was happy that David even stayed up to watch all three. The girls and I went to the video store and we all chose one movie.
First up was Macy’s choice, Wreck It Ralph. It was actually a really cute movie.
Next up was my choice, Safe Haven. I’ve wanted to watch this for a while now. It was really good.
And last was Aleeya’s choice (she was also thinking of her dad when she was choosing…she’s so sweet), the Amazing Spiderman. We saw this as a family in the theater last year and really liked it.
It was a super fun night. I’ll be planning another movie marathon soon.
Macy spent the day with David while Aleeya and I went to Boise to go school shopping and grocery shopping. We had a ton of fun and laughed a lot! David and Macy had fun too. He took her and her friend to the beach, went to garage sales, went for donuts, and even saw a bear walking on the road!
Here’s some fun pictures from our Boise trip…
We went to Wal-Mart, Office Depot, Target, Savers, Ross, Olive Garden, Winco, and maybe more places but I can’t remember 🙂
She just sort of, kind of, only a little bit likes One Direction!
Sunday was a nice relaxing day. The only real thing to report about Sunday was the delicious Taquito Casserole I made in the slow cooker. Oh my goodness, it was GOOD! Just layer 25 frozen taquitos in a crock pot, mix 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, 1 can green chilis, 1 can diced tomatoes, 1 cup sour cream in a bowl. Pour on top of taquitos. Put cheese on top. Cook on low for 3 hours. It was DELISH!
Ok, so it looks gross but it’s SUPER good. Really, you should make it!
